RSM names New Year appointments

RSM is set to record a "record" number of new senior appointments, who will come into their roles from 1 January 2022.

The 18 new leadership appointments include nine partners and nine principals and reflect a spike in demand for RSM’s suite of services from mid-market businesses, according to national chairman Jamie O’Rourke.

“Congratulations to our new leaders on achieving what is a career milestone for most accountants and consultants," Mr O'Rourke said.

"They are a diverse and talented group who have consistently demonstrated commitment to our values to positively impact our clients, their teams and the communities we operate in.”

The new partners, and their areas of expertise, have been confirmed as: Amit Kabra - assurance and advisory, Kian Ghahramani - business advisory, Patrick McMaster - business advisory, Mark Nichols - business advisory, Dan Hutchens - risk advisory, Jaime Lam - risk advisory services, Joanne Wynne - tax services, Robert Zammit - financial services, and Peter Sarandopoulos - business advisory.

Meanwhile, the new principals and their areas of expertise have been named as: David Friend - assurance and advisory, Martin Huang - assurance and advisory, Reginald Kuek - restructuring and recovery, Richard Martin - business advisory, Michelle Di Fede - business advisory, Laura Westbrook - business advisory, Nicole Mohan - risk advisory, Riaan Bronkhorst - risk advisory, and Minty Tafesse - tax services.

All appointments with the exception of Amit Kabra are effective 1 January 2022. Mr Kabra commenced with the firm on 1 December 2021, a statement confirmed.
